I’m Amira
a midwifery graduate from İstinye University in Turkey. During my training, I gained hands-on experience through internships across various departments in both private and public hospitals, including numerous intensive delivery rooms.
I provided initial newborn care during Cesarean sections, such as measuring height and head circumference, cord clamping, footprinting, and administering the first vaccinations and vitamins.
I also participated in newborn monitoring alongside pediatricians and offered postpartum maternal care, including bleeding control, vital sign assessment, perineal monitoring, and breastfeeding education.
Additionally, I supported patients by providing preoperative and postoperative care for gynecological surgeries.
